There was a sensation in the area after the dead body of a youth was found in a semi-built house in Nalanda, Bihar on Sunday. The matter is near Kargil Chowk under Deepnagar police station area. The deceased has been identified as Antu Kumar, son of Sunil Kumar, resident of Basombigha village of Giriyak police station area. At present the entire family is living in a house near the police line of Deepnagar police station area. The youth was missing from home since January 13.

Regarding the incident, the family of the deceased said that Antu Kumar was missing since January 13. A lot of searching was done, but his whereabouts were nowhere to be found. They got information about the incident from the local police on Sunday. After this they reached the spot and the body was identified as Antu Kumar.

Friend had called from home through messenger

The family told that his friend had called him from home by sending a message through Facebook Messenger. After this he was missing since January 13. After killing him, the body was hidden in a semi-finished house. There are wound marks on the chest, while there are traces of blood in the ears. The father of deceased Antu Kumar is posted as Inspector in Siwan district. He is also returning after getting information about the incident. The young man was an intermediate student. According to family members, he had become a drug addict.

Drug paraphernalia found scattered at the scene

Drug paraphernalia was found scattered at the place where Antu’s body was recovered by the police. If there are injections, other types of drug related items are also lying there. Looking at the spot, it appears that drug addicts consume drugs here, out of sight of the people passing by, it is right on the side of NH 20.

Deepnagar Police Station President Sunil Kumar Jaiswal said that information was received from the local people that a dead body was lying in a semi-built house. On receiving the information, the police immediately reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Before this, Antu was caught drunk several times, after which he was handed over to his family members. Police said that further action will be taken after receiving the application. The police have started investigating the entire matter. The cause of death will be revealed only after the post mortem report comes.
